With heads bowed in humility, OLHPSians received ashes, marking the start of Lent. A beautiful and reflective Ash Wednesday service presided over by Rev. Fr. Gerald Moscardon. A time for prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
A Catholic tradition held before Ash Wednesday, where blessed palms from the previous year’s Palm Sunday are burned to create the ashes used to mark the faithful’s foreheads, symbolizing repentance and our human frailty.
And just like that, the Festival of Talents has culminated! Over the past days, we witnessed incredible performances from our passionate and talented families.
